On Friday, the University began emptying the swimming pool on the Antioch College campus. This is a pool used by many senior citizens, youth ,area swim teams. The nearest pool is at least 15 miles away. There is an effort to save the gym, but the heating is the main problem. If the heat is left at a minimimal level during the winter, the buildings may be salvageable, including the four on the Historic Register. If anyone knows what pressure can be brought to keep the heat on, at least minimally, please put this information out to the public sphere so that concerned citizens can help support the effort.
